Super Psycho Magnet

Betsy was very tired by the time I decided to start taking pictures again last night. So tired that by the time I got the right shot she would no longer sit pretty, look interested, or look at all.

Regardless of Betsy’s lack of cooperation for the perfect pose for my new found inspiration for taking a new photo everyday and doing my best to post them too.

There are a lot of changes going on in my life and I hope to share them visually as well as written.

I’m sorry I’ve been gone for so long. I went home three weeks ago to my parents house. They have Amish neighbors. This means they are stuck with dial-up. I can’t deal with dial-up.

I’ve been dealing with stuff and I just haven’t really felt like writing a whole lot. However, I’m going to start blogging again this week. There have been a few things that happened that I need to get off my chest. These things include but are not limited to: “Why I Decided to Stop Drinking on St. Patrick’s Day,” “Who Brings a Rabbit to a Dog Park,” and “Keep Out: A Cautionary Tale of Diamond Head Bark Park.”

#28 Not Having A TV

Last week I mentioned my Search Engine Terms found on my Global Dashboard. One of the other perks of this plug-in is that it shows you the top wordpress blogs for the day. I can has cheese burger? and I has a hotdog! have been in second and third behind the CNN Political Ticker for months. In fourth place was usually a sports blog or something else that never really stayed for too long.

Today I noticed a new second place winner. Stuff White People Like. I left a puddle on my chair after I read #28 Not Having A TV.

It’s funny because it’s true. I don’t have a TV and I do love telling people that and I also like going to poetry slams.

NOTE: I’m leaving for home tonight so I don’t know how much I’ll be on for the next two weeks. I won’t be at my actual home for the first week and the second week will be spent in my parents house. They have dial-up and it’ll take me an hour to upload one image. You might just have to wait until I get back.

I am trying to help a good cause well at least I believe it is. Ben and another person have started a petition. The petition is to bring an electric car to the United States. Why do we want an electric vehicle in the US? Well it would reduce our reliance on foreign oil. Everyone is worried about the prices of gasoline and with an electric vehicle NO GAS is needed!! My favorite reason is because they are “green”, you know no pollution. I am hoping if one electric vehicle comes then more will follow. Here is a link to the article about the specific car.

The car is from Mitsubishi and is going to be released in Europe and Japan. I know the car is not the prettiest but hey remember the model T? Eventually, if all goes well, the nice looking cars will follow!! Here is a link to the actual petition if you could not find it in the article.

I’m not sure why I feel like celebrating tonight but I am. Even though I’m completely alone here and I’ve got no one to celebrate with I find the need to spend $3.42 on a small bottle of champagne and celebrate. Maybe I’m celebrating life being what it is or maybe I’m celebrating new beginnings. I don’t know. I just know it’s a good day.

One of the plug-ins for the version of Wordpress that I have allows me to see my blog stats. That means there is one more tool on this blog that allows my obsessive compulsive tendencies to grow. It counts the number of hits I receive on any given day. It tells me what site referred whomever to my site, what page or post they visited and how many times.

The second most fun part of this plug-in is that it tells me what search engine terms have lead people to my site. These are some of my favorite from the part 30 days.
